The Initiatives Hub plays a central role in any innovation management ecosystem, providing structure and clarity for project execution. This update focuses on making it even smoother and more intuitive.
Smoother task experience and visual clarity
When a delayed task is completed, the due date now returns to the default text color rather than remaining red. This subtle yet important adjustment makes progress tracking more comfortable and visually balanced.
Updated portfolio modal for clearer navigation
The portfolio modal layout has been refined for consistency and clarity:
- The Delete button is now positioned at the lower right corner, following the standard UI pattern.
- The header now includes both the portfolio title and an indication of whether it uses a template, providing users with better context.
Real-time notifications for assigned responsibilities
Previously, users were not automatically notified when assigned to a project, portfolio, or task, leading to delays and miscommunication.
Now, AEVO Innovate ensures immediate, automated notifications via email and in-app alerts whenever a user is designated as responsible for an activity, ensuring everyone stays informed and aligned.
These changes make task tracking more consistent and ensure better accountability across your innovation management process.
Driving Global Collaboration in Innovation Management: Ideas Hub
Dynamic translation for global teams
Innovation happens everywhere, and now it’s easier than ever to collaborate across languages.
- Translation button in new idea form: users can instantly translate customized fields with one click, streamlining idea submission in multilingual environments.
- Campaign translation on description page: inside each campaign, the “View Campaign” screen now includes a translation button for real-time understanding.
- Mass translation in campaign list: all campaigns can now be translated directly from the listing view, ensuring global accessibility.
Improved visibility for technical reviews
Previously, managers had to open each idea individually to view the number and status of technical reviews.
The new update introduces:
- A badge indicator showing the total number of reviews per idea;
- Status differentiation between responded and pending reviews;
- A modal view with all review details, including responsible user, request status, deadlines, and completion criteria.
This update significantly improves agility and decision-making for program administrators.
Mandatory and clear review selection
The review field (Favorable / Unfavorable) is now mandatory and no longer preselected by default. This prevents incorrect submissions and ensures more reliable data quality across evaluations.
Automatic notifications for implementation tasks
When a user is assigned to implement an idea, AEVO Innovate now sends automatic notifications (both by email and in-app) to confirm responsibility and follow-up.
Enhanced profile photo component
Users can now not only change their profile picture but also delete or keep the system photo directly through the profile settings.
Default flag for “Send to Implementation”
The “Send to Implementation” flag is now pre-enabled when approving an idea, reducing unnecessary clicks and ensuring consistency in workflows. A short explanation guides users about the new behavior.
New color standards for review statuses
The visual configuration of review statuses has been standardized:
- Reviews in progress are shown in yellow
- Completed reviews are shown in blue
This eliminates confusion and improves readability across all interfaces.
Informative tooltip in the Financial Gains Forecast field
The Gains Forecast field now includes an “info” icon that explains its function as a projection tool for future gains. This helps users differentiate between forecasted and realized results and supports data-driven decision-making. The tooltip is available in all platform languages.
